All three are first-party, carry the SameSite attribute, and are sent over HTTPS only. None is shared with a third party.
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the EDPB guidance on its technical-storage exemptions, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service the visitor has asked for do not require prior consent. All three cookies above fall in that category: a language you chose yourself, a security token for a form you opened, and a record of the notice you dismissed. There is nothing optional to switch off, so offering a choice would be misleading rather than helpful.
The moment we add anything that is not strictly necessary — analytics, a marketing tag, a demo environment that profiles usage — that changes. We will introduce a proper consent mechanism with a real reject option before it is switched on, not after.
The site loads no web analytics, no advertising tags and no social media pixels. Specifically, it does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any comparable product. No profile of your visit is built, and nothing about your visit is shared with an advertising network.
The only third party the site contacts on your behalf is Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces used for the page text. Your browser requests the font files directly from Google’s servers, so your IP address is visible to Google for that request. No cookie is set by this.
Server logs. The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Ordinary request data — IP address, time of request, page requested, browser and operating system — is processed to deliver the page, keep the service available and defend against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The two forms. The contact form and the job application form send what you type, and any CV you attach, by email to our office mailbox. Nothing you submit is stored on this website and nothing is written to a database here. Each form asks for your explicit consent before it is sent, and the consent text on the form states what happens to the data and for how long we keep it.
You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser’s developer tools on any page of this site and look under Storage or Application. You will find the cookies listed in Section 1 and nothing else — no _ga, no _fbp, no identifiers from an advertising network. Under Network you will see requests to this site and to Google Fonts, and to nothing else.
Clearing site data for mixconix.com in your browser removes all three. The site continues to work: it will simply ask your browser’s language again, issue a new form token when you next open a form, and show the cookie notice once more.
